Blue Moon Hotel

We booked 2 nights and extended our stay an additional 3 nights due to the outstanding customer service, amenities, and location. The rooms are clean, quiet, and large enough for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with the resort amenities such as the bikes, beach chair reservation, water bottles, coffee/tea, etc. Well worth the resort fee. The restaurant is also quite good. The best part of our stay had been the warm and professional service from all of the hotel staff. You can feel that each person here is dedicated to providing a top notch experience for each guest. The Blue Moon Hotel is a gem and we’d love to visit again.

My husband and I booked a night at the Blue Moon Hotel prior to boarding our cruise the following day. Honestly, can’t say enough good things about this little boutique hotel! From the moment we checked in, customer service was exceptional. JP at the front desk was such a pleasure and very helpful/accommodating. The location was great all around. Rooms weren’t the most up to date but this seems common for South Beach boutique hotels from what I can tell. That being said, everything was clean so absolutely no complaints there. When we got back from partying along south beach, we stopped in the hotel bar for a night cap and service was great. When we returned from our cruise we had about 5 hours to kill before heading to the airport and we actually went back to the Blue Moon Hotel to see if they would allow us to leave our bags while we explored the area and went to breakfast to waste some time. They charged for this service of course ($25) but I absolutely expected to pay something so it didn’t come by surprise. It was nice enough of them to let us keep our bags there as I’m sure many places wouldn’t have since we didn’t have a room booked that day. William was working this day and again, the customer service was impeccable and he was so personable and friendly. He actually allowed us to sit by the pool and use the restrooms to change etc before having to go to the airport. My husband and I fell asleep by the pool and they even brought out waters for us! So incredibly sweet. Recommend all around!

Very cute place. I booked last minute as there was a mixup with my scheduled hotel and the room at the Blue Moon was honestly what I needed. Clean, crisp, and quiet. The staff are super sweet, friendly, very professional and accommodating, thank you guys. There was light leak into my room, not too bad for most people I imagine… I’m super sensitive so had my sleep mask and it didn’t bother me. Would recommend and would come back again :)

When we arrived, staff were very helpful and were able to direct us to everything we needed. We were slightly dubious about staying here as we have heard some horror stories about hotels on South Beach. Staff were incredibly helpful and upbeat. The hotel room was clean upon arrival and stocked with very nice toiletries. The staff continued to greet when coming and going from the hotel. The pool was very nice, a little small but definitely a lot nicer than these over crowded pools. The bartender deserves a shout out as he was incredibly nice and chatty. We spent some time in other hotels for food whilst we were there and this hotel is a strong contender. We didn’t try the food but it looks amazing

I stayed at the Blue Moon for a work convention. This is a perfect hotel for that purpose! Every day, my room was cleaned and refilled with new towels and water. If I were vacationing at this hotel, the pool was cute but not big, and I’d probably choose other hotels in the area. Location is great and walking distance to so many nice restaurants and the beach. The hotel staff is friendly but at times seemed disorganized and slow. The rooms were clean but older. Bathroom had a hair dryer and nice shower products. Lighting in the room was dull. Overall a cute spot but maybe not the best depending on purpose of travel!

It’s a cute little hotel super close to south beach. Service was great, staff was very helpful and attentive to your needs. Amazing cafes just across the street. They also offer bi-cycles to guests. Only con was the loud noise of people partying and shouting on the street late at night. Windows are not sound proof. Enjoyed my time here.
